Rhinoplasty Procedure
A rhinoplasty, or “nose job,” is one of the most popular procedures performed today. Dr. Diaz is a specialist in rhinoplasty and performs many nose reshaping surgeries in his Beverly Hills practice.
There are two common ways to perform a rhinoplasty. Dr. Diaz prefers the "closed" approach. This method does not create any external scars on the nose. All of the incisions are made inside the nostrils, where the scars will remain hidden from view.
The second approach is called the “open” approach. This method creates a scar across the columella, which is the part of the nose between the nostrils and which connects the tip of the nose to the upper lip. The scar eventually heals well.
